PHP programming

We started to work with PHP in 2001, just after the launch of version 4. Since then, the language has experienced overwhelming development and has become so popular that it is now the most used language for the development of web applications.

We have also developed further and learned a lot in the process. We began writing scripts, and soon afterwards, we developed our own framework with object-orientated code. Nevertheless, times have changed, and in addition to the language becoming outdated, web development methodology has been standardised with MVC frameworks like Zend Framework or Symfony, or component libraries such as PEAR or eZ Components. At Assertio, we embrace the latest trends and base our customised developments on them.

Open-source solutions

The open-source community has grown considerably and now presents a wide range of high-quality applications. In order to complete our solutions portfolio, we implement content management applications or CMS such as eZ Publish and TYPO3, electronic commerce such as Prestashop and Magento.
